SUPER CULTURE
ad-hoc projects producer, 2021 onwards
*Current: Big Wall - a public art commissioning project with young people in the Weston subburb of Worle.
Developing new public artworks and engagement activites in response to the See Monster national UNBOXED installation in WsM in the summer of 2022, to develop, produce and deliver a season of activities with and for local communities in the town throughout the summer months. As part of this, I instigated a series of site-specific, text-based artworks along Weston’s seafront, and created a new arts trail map.
with designer Jono Lewarne
The public are invited to weave and wander their way around the streets of WsM to explore the town through a creative and curious lens. The arts trail shines a light on public spaces and overlooked places, through inspiring artworks, exhibitions, installations, and happenings along the seafront and beyond.
Letters for the Sea, Letters for the Land
A compelling miscellany of site-specific, word-based artworks, installations and audio works inspired by the sea, coastline, landscape and environment, people and place – to read, and listen to in location.
Look out to sea and take in contemplative words and reflective sentiments through the windows of the seafront shelters, and upon poster boards along the promenade. Featuring poems and texts by local artists, writers and poets.
