BRUNSWICK LIGHT RAY PROCESS
Brunswick Club, Bristol, November 2017
A collaborative project investigating the Brunswick Light Ray Process - an early method of sound recording technology using a mirror, light rays and sound wave vibrations to record audio in a way that harmonises with the optical soundtrack.
This period of research and development resulted in an evening of durational, improviational, and immersive sound, performance and installation in action.
I created a fabric banner featuring the BLRP diagram which I live-stitched at the event, and was hung ceremonially for the final part of the performance event.
